The pandemic has drastically changed the way we work. Technological innovations brought forth many shifts in the modern-day workplace – whether it be corporate or commission-based jobs.
80% of workers would choose a job that offers a flexible schedule over those that did not, according to this 2018 survey. Property agents are known to have flexible working hours, but how flexible are they?
Here’s 3 ways how a career in real estate can be flexible!
1. Work non-traditional hours
If you’re the type of person that doesn’t work well within the confines of a 9-5, then having flexible working hours can do wonders in your career. Having the freedom to choose when to work can allow for a significant boost in productivity, since different people work better at different hours of the day.
2. Flexibility in planning your timing
With flexible working hours, you get to recharge your batteries and recover at a pace that’s suitable for you. In this way, you get to perform to a higher standard in your work. Having a healthy schedule that’s appropriate with your working style can improve morale, enabling you to have a better approach to your work and deliver quality results.
3. Taking care of your personal priorities
Staying within the bounds of a fixed schedule can be stressful. Working with a flexible schedule can reduce the risks of burnout, fatigue and stress, and entirely improve physical and mental wellbeing. Plus, being in control of your schedule can allow you to take breaks when it’s appropriate for you.
