Global real estate agency company IQI announced today it has extended its more than 25 country network into a new country, Iceland. This marks the opening of the network’s first office in a Nordic country.

Iceland is a wealthy, advanced economy with a shortage of housing, strong labour markets, high household income, and a decade of housing price growth behind it. All of these factors make it an attractive place for us to operate.

“The number of housing transactions nearly doubled in the second quarter of 2024 compared to the year before. Several factors are behind the strong housing market, including insufficient supply, rapid population growth and resilient levels of private demand.”

Asdis will serve as Country Head of IQI Iceland. Most recently, she has been the owner of the agency Húsaskjól in Iceland’s capital region, where she is a market expert and has led the industry in technological innovations, especially in marketing and online presence.
