Becoming a real estate negotiator is not exactly a walk in the park. To achieve greatness, it must come with hard work, patience and perseverance.
However, these real estate negotiators had a soul packed with grit, landing them not only amazing sales, but also a brand new Rolex! And for most of them, it’s not even their first.
How did they become a top achiever and win their Rolex? Read on to hear their story!
How did our IQI Real Estate Negotiators Win a Rolex?
Joyce Yeoh: 4-time Rolex Award winner for 4 years
Joyce Yeoh from IQI Elite is a 4-time Rolex Achiever! She also received it in her first year of being a real estate negotiator in IQI.
Joyce is strong in her game, delivering her services with a smile. What’s her secret to success?
Teamwork is the gateway to victory
Joyce says, the main reason for her success is not by doing things alone – it’s by working with your team members.
If you want to win the Rolex, you’re not able to do everything yourself. If you want to achieve 100% sales by yourself, it’ll be difficult to achieve. So, be sure to leverage on having a huge team!

Circumstances change, we should change too!
The real estate market isn’t going to stay stagnant forever. Just like waves, we have to follow the tide to survive and thrive.
The market keeps changing every year. You just have to cope in order to fulfill the changes in the market. If you encounter any challenges, face them head-on and create new ways to go past it.

IQI allows you to grow yourself and your perspective
What makes IQI stand out from other companies, according to Joyce, is gaining experiences in a wider perspective.
In IQI, you can see a lot of different things. You get to meet people from other countries, and enjoy different types of experiences. It’s something you cannot easily get anywhere else.

What’s next for Joyce?
I’d like to work to get at least 2 Rolex Achiever Awards per year!

Jayden Teh: Scoring huge achievements at only 22 years old
To young Jayden Teh, becoming a self-learner and practicing discipline in his work eventually led him to this big win.
However, the process isn’t as smooth as we think for this 22-year old real estate entrepreneur.
Continuous improvement makes you a top sales agent
Was it easy to earn this Rolex award for Jayden?
It took me 3 years to earn this Rolex award – it was definitely tough. I believe I do what everyone else does, which is work with efficiency, determination and self-discipline. The difference is the review/post-mortem. Always finding ways to improve is what makes someone a top sales agent.

Success means stepping out of your comfort zone
If you want to go the distance, you need to learn. Jayden believes that you can learn from anyone – you just have to ask!
When I joined IQI, my previous leader left the team shortly after. I then joined a team with more than 1,000 members, which made it understandably difficult for a team leader to supervise everyone in the team. It taught me to become independent. I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried my best to gain knowledge from the people around me.

A never-give-up attitude
Throughout Jayden’s years in IQI, he has faced many challenges – from relationship troubles to health concerns. Despite being hospitalized for a month, he pushed through and worked hard to achieve his goals.
From these experiences, I learned a valuable lesson: to make changes according to the situation. I collaborated with teammates to help me with closing sales and calling when I was hospitalized.

What’s next for Jayden?
My aim for the next milestone is to nurture a champion from my team for Rolex Award in the agent category. Additionally, leading more people in my team for them to achieve more awards.
