Diwali is commonly known as the Hindu festival of lights – the word ‘Diwali’ translates to ‘row of lights’ – and it’s a five-day event packed with food, candles and fireworks. It’s the biggest festival in India, but it’s also celebrated all over the world – including right here in Dubai.
