2022 has been an incredibly auspicious year for IQI!
Despite 2022 being a turbulent year with the rise of interest rates, global inflation, and general economic downturn, real estate technology company IQI has pushed through the odds this year, expanding globally and achieving stellar results amidst riding the waves of the unknown.
Before we enter the new year, let’s reminisce some of the activities and achievements IQI has accomplished in 2022!
1. Total Sales
In 2021, IQI achieved 31,000 real estate transactions around the world. In the first half of 2021 alone, the volume of new project sales transactions increased by 293% year-on-year, bringing in a total of US$88M in residential sales.
In 2022, IQI has successfully marked a new milestone, reaching a total sales of US$3 billion (approximately RM13.3 billion)!
2. Global market presence
In 2022, IQI has opened a total of 11 offices in Malaysia and around the world, including 7 in Malaysia and 4 in other countries, continuing to expand its global business scope.
3. Agents and commissions
In 2022, more than 800 people on average have joined as real estate negotiators per month. IQI has successfully recruited more than 9,700 real estate negotiators throughout the year, and the total number of real estate negotiators under its umbrella has reached 30,000!
IQI keeps to its promise of paying commissions to real estate agents within 5 days. With that, IQI has successfully paid a whopping total of RM300 million in commissions!
4. Technology platform optimization
As a real estate technology company, IQI keeps up with the pace of technology, and continues to improve and optimize the functions of its SuperApp Atlas, adding various new functions to provide real estate agents with a better experience and simplify their work.
This year, IQI has revealed a new function coming soon, known as the carbon emissions calculator in Atlas to provide home buyers with simple and clear carbon footprint data to achieve its mission of net zero emissions.
5. Training courses
IQI is also committed to providing various training courses, such as the online training course platform IQI Academy, which enhances the skills of real estate agents through various exclusive courses.
In 2022, IQI has launched the online workshop Refine Workshop to share various practical workplace and personal development skills for audiences far and wide.
6. Partnerships and collaborations
In order to foster the growth of its real estate agency and optimize the investment or financing procedures of real estate buyers, IQI has launched cooperations with real estate company EdgeProp and CIMB.
In addition to that, with the rise of the pandemic, many people in Malaysia are still threatened by the coronavirus. Therefore, IQI has also cooperated with LifeCare Diagnostic Medical Center to provide medical and health benefits for its employees and real estate agents.
7. Awards and recognitions
As mentioned, 2022 was a stellar year for IQI. From the National Real Estate Awards (NREA), StarProperty Awards to the Top 100 Small and Medium Enterprise Awards, IQI has managed to sweep a total of 31 awards throughout the year.
8. Annual trips and activities
In order to reward employees for their hard work for a year, IQI organizes various activities to allow employees to rest and entertain, and to promote the relationship between employees, encouraging a healthy working culture and creating an atmosphere of a big family.
IQI has also rewarded its Malaysian employees with a 4D3N trip to Sabah, and have also traveled to Portugal in November as part of an incentive trip to relax and recharge.
