Step 1: Install your animation software
To begin, install your choice of animation software. Here, the software Explee on trial run is being used. You can have a free 14-day trial run to check out how it works.
Step 2: Select a template
Within Explee, there are multiple templates for both background and character for your animation video. Choose according to your liking with the help of the search tool in the clip art/background sections.
If you cannot find an appropriate character clipart, you may search for free or paid clipart from freepik.com.
You may also upload your own clipart/character onto the site. Make sure that there are no copyright infringements.
Step 3: Add title and/or text
Once you have placed your background and character, the next step is to add title and/or text to accompany the clipart. This is easily done by choosing ‘Add title’ option from left hand side panel of the screen.
After adding title and text as desired, use the bottom panel for ‘Time’ to correctly synchronize the timing of appearance and disappearance of both characters and text.
When you are satisfied with the synchronization of text and characters, you may add more slides as you wish.
Save all changes after every alteration.
Step 4: Add audio
Finally, you may add the audio using the audio icon on left-hand side.
The two components are the background music, which can also be chosen from the variety of free template audios on left hand side.
Adjust the background audio using bottom panel to have a softer volume so as not to overshadow any voice.
Adding voice may be done with either your own recorded voice using your device, or you may opt for text-to-speech option.
You can preview the entire animation thereafter and modify as needed.
