color: #000000;\">The <strong>Overnight Policy Rate (OPR)<\/strong> is an overnight interest rate set by <strong>Bank Negara Malaysia<\/strong> (BNM), which determines the <strong>interest rate<\/strong> for financial institutions to <strong>lend funds<\/strong> to one another.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">To ensure banks have a <strong>steady amount of available cash<\/strong>, the interest rates fixed by the OPR provides a structure for monetary direction on a national scale. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;
