Stamp duty for a tenancy agreement varies with rent and duration.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Usual yearly rates are <strong>RM1<\/strong> for every RM250 above RM2400.<\/span><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For 1-3 yearly rates, it rises to <strong>RM2<\/strong>.<\/span><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For 3 years, it becomes <strong>RM4<\/strong>.<\/span><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-5-what-are-the-other-fees-involved-in-the-rental-agreement\"><b><a id=\"other-fees\"><\/a>5. What are the other fees involved in the rental agreement?<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Administration fees and legal fees are the two other fees that you have to know about while drafting your tenancy agreement.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>administration fees<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are based on the monthly rental amount.
