Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH) highway is opening to the public today (14th October), 12 am, with toll-free for a month until 30th November 2022.<\/p>\n

The 20.1km highway will reduce traffic congestion in several locations by up to 40% during peak hours, providing an alternative route from Shah Alam, Kota Damansara, Subang airport, Damansara Perdana, Damansara, Penchala and Kuala Lumpur.<\/p>\n

It is expected to reduce the travel time from 90 minutes to 30 minutes from Puncak Perdana to Penchala, and from TTDI to Subang airport will only take 10 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DASH Highway implemented the noise-cancellation barrier with the primary function of minimizing noise from vehicles on DASH toward residents.<\/p>\n

It is also equipped with 37 closed-circuit cameras (CCTV), 18 emergency telephones, 30 vehicle incident detection systems (VIDS) and 10 variable message signs (VMS) along the alignment, as well as 2,441 light-emitting diodes (LED) street lights.<\/p>\n

To reduce the burden on the people, the government will reduce the toll rates for four highways under PROLINTAS, which will be implemented at 12.01 am on October 20.<\/p>\n
