It seems like a small detail; however, by pulling your furniture, whether it is a table, a chair, a sofa or a cupboard, even by just a few inches gives the room a warm, lived in look.\"\"<\/p>\n

2. Measure a dining table before buying it<\/h3>\n

Don’t you just hate it when you don’t have enough space to fit in that lovely table you just ordered into the space you had planned to? That is why you should always measure a dining table before you buy it. If you are tight on space then consider getting a round table. It fits well in a corner and the lack of edges offers more space.\"\"<\/p>\n

3. Don’t Forget The Ceiling<\/h3>\n

When you start decorating, you usually think of the walls, the furniture and then the floor. One place everyone forgets about is the ceiling. Treat your ceiling like a fifth wall, it’s just as important and will definitely brighten up your home when you do it right. Try contrasting colours or an unusual chandelier.\"\"<\/p>\n

Some people don’t want to paint their walls a bright colour. If you are one of these people that’s okay, you can add colour through accessories. 6. Keep it comfortable<\/h3>\n

Whatever your personal style may be, whether casual, classic, sophisticated, minimalist or bohemian, the most important thing is to make your home liveable. A good looking home is nice, however, a well-designed home is one that is both comfortable and functional.<\/p>\n

Decorating a house may not be the easiest thing to do, but it is a lot of fun. Because when you decorate your house you are reflecting yourself and your personality.
