It finally happened. After more than a decade of construction and a long string of delays, the LRT3 Shah Alam Line<\/strong> opened to the public at 6am today, 29 June 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim officiated the launch a day earlier at the Johan Setia depot in Klang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the western Klang Valley, this is a big deal. Shah Alam and Klang have leaned on cars for decades. Now they finally have a proper rail link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And there is a sweetener. Rides are free for the first month, from today until 31 July 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
