They participated in housekeeping duties such as cleaning cat litter boxes, tidying play areas, and ensuring the spaces remained comfortable and safe.

More than just a task, it was a moment to interact and show affection to the cats who thrive on gentle attention and human presence.

For the dogs, the team took on the joyful responsibility of socialising and walking them, helping the animals build trust and confidence with people.

Each smile, each wagging tail, and each gentle purr reminded us that love and care are universal languages that connect all living beings.

During the visit, representatives from SPCA Selangor shared their journey and the meaningful work they do to promote animal welfare across Malaysia.

Potong Royong

A long-standing community campaign encouraging responsible pet ownership through affordable spaying and neutering services.

Spay and Neuter Program 2024

In 2024 alone, over 7,000 cats and dogs were spayed or neutered, reducing the number of stray animals and preventing unnecessary suffering.

Happy Tails Project

An initiative that finds loving homes for rescued animals and celebrates every successful adoption story.

World Animal Day 2024

A celebration that raises awareness of animal rights, highlights the importance of kindness toward all creatures, and strengthens the call for better protection laws.

Through these programs, SPCA continues to remind the community that it is always better to adopt, not shop.

Every adoption means a second chance at life and love for an animal that has already endured so much.
